Big horn report

Postby dukkilr6 » Tue Dec 13, 2005 2:59 pm

My old man just got back from the bighorn and they killed em. I guess there were just mallards and honkers everywhere. I'm coming out Jan 2. so I'm starting to get pumped. Keep me updated on the birds.

Further north we have lost most of our birds. They left in front of this incoming cold front. The melting during the day and freezing at night has formed a hard crust on the snow. Hunted Friday, Saturday and Sunday and the birds were leaving in big numbers. Saw Thousands of honkers flying on Friday, Fewer on Saturday and counted a grand total of 35 on Sunday.
Still a ducks around but they are not here in the numbers they were just 5 days ago.
