Missouri River 10/30/11

Got out this morning on the Missouri, somehow time managed to get away from me and about the time I threw my last decoy I had ducks piling in. Ended up with 3 Mallards (big thick migrators) and two pintails. Probably my worst shooting ever too, lots of ducks but the wind was making it really hard for them to get a good landing attempt. About the time they would lock on my spread and make a landing attempt the wind would gust and blow them past then they'd get a look at some real ducks on some small private pond next to a house about a mile away. I drove up to this house a couple weeks ago and it was packed with ducks...
