this is one time where it is a good thing to 'get lucky' with a male. :hammer:

I keep waiting to get a nice wood duck in MT. I shot a good number when I lived in Malta a few years back, but nothing that I would consider mounting. When I went to school in WI, I shot a number of nice drakes and one in particular was great. He sat in my freezer for over a year, unable to be mounted on a grad-school student's stipend...then I moved to Idaho and couldn't pack him across country, so I did a STUPID thing and got rid of it without mounting it :fingerhead: . I'll regret that decision forever probably :no:
