Postby deathfrombelow » Sun Feb 17, 2013 12:21 am

what is going on ladies and gents. i am ready to start shed hunting but new to the Missoula area. i know some sections are seasonal but i was seeing if there is other places i could go? i want to get my dog and i some exercise. pretty bored until bear season opens up. i'd appreciate the input, not trying to take anyones spots just didn't have shed seasons where i have lived before. THANKS!

Private (with permission),BLM and FS lands are open. Game ranges are not till late spring.

Do everyone a favor and dont go out and harrass wintering big game. Making them run this time of year can be a death sentence

I suck at shed hunting. I did see a group of some really nice bulls last week though that may still be in the general area when they start dropping.
