Shot this guy this morning. He wasnt the one I was looking for, but I couldnt pass up a 50 yard shot from a tree stand, he defenitly looked bigger through the scope  After I shot him, I saw the 150 class buck I'd been chasing all bow season take off out from the field :pissed:

P.S. Bucks were already rutten, saw 2 fights, lots of new rubs, and my buck was the worst smelling deer I have ever come across, I think he was gettin horny!

nice looking buck. Now you have more time to chase elk and shoot birds.

I shot a whitetail doe last night with my deceased grandfathers model 94 winchester in .32 win special. It has iron sights and hasnt killed an animal in about 80 years. It was really neat.

I went out after elk in an area I had played with a really nice herd bull during archery season. I found the herd and snuck into 80 yards but there was no bull, just cows and a calf. Oh well.

Nice deer

Went out and could have limited out on diesel trucks, orange critters (Hunters Orange), and .... well I guess thats it. But I did see 11 elk, all bald and not a single deer.

I finally saw elk late last night but they were 1000yds. away and I couldn't get any closer before dark. Tried to get in on them this morning and couldn't find them. My area needs snow before I'll go back.
