A little help

Postby dukhnter7 » Thu Oct 26, 2006 12:44 pm

Hey guys! I'm heading up to your fine state this weekend to visit some relatives and do a little scouting. This will be my first trip up there. My question is, I'm going to be a little NE of Billings. Just south of Musselshell in the Bull Mnt's. I know there some good turkey hunting there, and I've heard rumor of some pheasants. Is it woth my time and money to get an upland bird tag or should I just stick with the gobbler? Thanks! :salude:

Youll have a better chance of getting a turkey, but be aware that there isnt alot of public land in this area that holds turkeys this time of year. Most of them head down onto the private.

That's kind of what I am hoping for. I'll be hunting private. Thanks!
