2006 MT bucks-pics

Postby phutch30 » Mon Nov 27, 2006 10:27 am

Well big game is over and for the first time in 10 years I am elkless. My streak of 9 bulls in 9 years is over. I couldnt even manage to kill a cow. My ego will never recover :toofunny: . On a happier note, here is the managment buck I took off a local ranch. He should go alittle better than P&Y. I saw a couple bigger 4x4s but just couldnt close the deal.

Here is the buck I put my buddy on in eastern MT last week. He committed suicide when he jumped the fence from the private alfalfa field.

Nice bucks man. I hunted a lot of days looking for 140 or better. I did see a few in that class but didn't get one. I did manage an elk and a good sized doe so there's meat in the freezer. Back to ducks!

Is that an exit or entrance wood on the bow buck? Pretty good buck for a managment buck.....

Thats the exit. It was a 25 sharp quarting away shot. He never even knew he was hit. He kind of jumped a little and walked 15 feet to sniff a doe and then fell over. The other deer just stared at him like "whats wrong with fred", and walked away.
