A buddy I work with asked me what I was doing this weekend, then he asked if me dog was a good retriever. His son got a blind at a local refuge and you needed a dog to get a water blind. It was nice we got a blind away from everybody else. There was a bag of deeks in the blind. They shot really good getting 2 widgeon, 2 teal (1gw and 1bw), 6 mallards. They could have limited on mallards but we wouldn't let them shoot at a tight flocks because they had 4 hens. I got to work my dog and had a great time.

A friend took his son to my place. They had mallards and teal around. Kid ended up with three in the morning
They had some shots at geese too. So not a bad morning. They had fun
Mostly brown ducks. Not a lot with color yet
They also got a couple trout on streamers after morning hunt. So fun cast and blast day

I missed it and will miss the first MT duck opener ever to boot.
....its like taking x-lax when you have a bad cough. It wont clear up your lungs, but it sure stops you from coughing
