Shootin' Roosters

Anybody else get out for Pheasant Opener? We had some luck & a good time, dogs were awesome.

Just MT...bad shooting today resulted in 9 & a Hun....passed up a lot of young roosties

I really wanted to, but no one invited me
....its like taking x-lax when you have a bad cough. It wont clear up your lungs, but it sure stops you from coughing

Yeah I went out and I was super happy with 1! Nice job!

Damn! Not a looker in the bunch except for that lab with the orange collar. Seriously though, yeah I got out but I mostly passed on roosters because I thought they were too immature. I think we got 13 on the opener. Spot was not as loaded up as I thought it would be.

I missed two nice roosters Sunday evening walking into hunt ducks. First one came up about two steps in front of me and scared me so bad I almost fell backwards. I recovered and shot but missed. Second one the dog flushed right behind a small tree. Took a snapshot at it before it disappeared but shot behind it. I was pretty disappointed with my shooting...
