Hey guys, I'm getting transferred to Omaha this summer from Washington state. I've been in duck hunting heaven in the northwest for 9 yrs, but am also looking forward to getting back to the midwest (originally from MN). Are their many public land duck hunitng areas within an hr of the Omaha area? I'm trying to get an idea of hunting opportunities for this fall before I move. Any help would be appreciated.

we have river access at my park, two rivers SRA lot of hunting pressure there though go durring the week. your better off getting west of the river and knocking on doors. your about half an hour from me in early to mid october you can wreck the woodies if you know where to go and in november start following the ducks to the fields if there going east dont bother if there going west it never hurts to ask. also you could look into a lease around valley NE they go pretty high though good luck.
miss him once shame on me, miss him twice on me agian, miss him three times damit! reload and watch where that SOB lands this isnt over.
