Platte River Flooding

Postby Omaha Clucker » Mon Sep 23, 2013 8:50 am

I was looking at some of the pics and saw the river is up over 14 ft in North Platte over the weekend. I hope you guys out there are making it through without too much damage!

Not sure, other than Hidden Lake where a friend of mine used to live I'm not familiar with a lot of the places. I was looking here

I live just south of Kearney and the Platte has already crested here. But unfortunately other than some lakes in Colorado and Central Irrigation Lakes (Johnson lake, Elwood Reservoir) by Lexington, not much of the water will be held back. Its too bad Big Mac didnt get any of this water cause it would have helped a bunch!
