East of Kearney?????

Postby quackshutr » Thu Sep 20, 2007 8:16 pm

Driving back from our elk hunt in CO last week, I noticed a building on the south side of I-80 that had a neon duck head sign. I'm assuming that the river to the south of the building is their hunting area, Republican or Platte?
Anybody know anything about this?

PM me if you do.

I assume you mean the place with the decoys, DU flags, etc. You wouldn't have saw that at night.

I don't know their name but this borders the Platte River essentially.

We're really starting to get ducks in North Platte now. I've seen a bunch of flocks of geese up north, but they seem to be staying east of us for now. Should be fair numbers in your area by now.
2009/10 Season Totals:
doves-15
greenheads-53
bluebills-8
pintails-8
redheads-7
widgeon-23
gadwall-8
woodies-3
teal-13
goldeneyes-9
snow geese-18
canadas-102

turkeys-6
coyotes-51
bocats-3
badger-1

and my very first deer, should have done it decades ago
