Snow geese in nebraska

Postby Feet Down » Tue Jan 15, 2008 6:30 pm

This is going to be my first year of snow goose hunting i was wondering that in years past has anyone kill or seen lots of snow geese around seward, NE and along highway 81 south of york all the way to the kansas border. I was wondering this because i have several places i can hunt along these places and i wanted to know if anyone has had any luck in years past kill snows in these areas.

I hunt about 20 miles east of 81. We kill alot of snows every year. The number gets smaller every year. Part of that reason is I dont get out a much as I did before I was married and had kids, the other part is they are getting smarther than ever. Good luck, if you are in the area around Fairbury or any parts east or south give me a yell.
Dont shoot where they have been, shoot where they are going.
