Great morning

Postby waterfowler81 » Wed Oct 15, 2008 12:45 pm

Had an awesome day today. It was my first day off work since the season opened and the beginning to a week off work. Had a great time, shot a 2 man limit by 9:30 am. Started off cuttin into a flock of specks decoying in right as the clock hit shooting time which my buddy got one and I slung 3 shells out there for nothin. Left with a nice mixed bag of mallards, teal, wigeon, a shoveler, and a blue bill. Could not have asked for a better start to the year. Hopefully I can get some pics up later.

Hey buddy...... Good to see the pics. Looks pretty "ducky" out there. Can't wait to come see oyu next year and put on some hunts before I deploy again. Bet it is nice not to have to that cut into the season again. It is great to hear you are doing well for yourself in the "REAL" world. I had no doubt you would . Take care.

nebraska has a lot of public land that will hold ducks the only problem is we have a lot of duck hunters here that dont scout and hunt pretty much only public land. you can got to www.outdoornebraksa.org and find all the public land, my advice go on a monday or a tueasday to give yourself the best chance at ducks. good luck!
miss him once shame on me, miss him twice on me agian, miss him three times damit! reload and watch where that SOB lands this isnt over.
