Did anybody see any ducks?

Postby Danawrestler » Mon Oct 10, 2005 11:39 pm

This weekend I saw about 6 ducks the whole morning when I hunted on Sunday. Did anybody else not see that many birds or was it just me?

I saw about 30 Teal and some big ducks when I was picking corn on Sun afternoon. Dont worry it is still early in the season, plenty of time left. :salude: :salude: :salude:
Dont shoot where they have been, shoot where they are going.

It had to have been the worst morning of my life, regardless of the duckhunting. I think God was punishing me for all of his creatures I've killed.

Dan, it's slow pretty much everywhere around here. I went out last weekend to my roomates farm about 5-6 miles north of summit and shot a limit of geese, but only saw maybe 6 ducks. Our group kill counts are a little down from last year at this time, we have 31 ducks and 7 geese so far, but it's real early and if you wait...they will come. The next front that comes down, get out there, the widgeon and gaddies will be thick.

Well atleast ya'll seem to be doing alright. Does anybody know the closest place to Blair where somebody could pick-up a wader patch kit?

If you have canvas waders, get some tire patches. If you have neoprenes, aquaseal is the best stuff I've found.
