Time off...maybe

I may be getting a day off this weekend  ...anyone know what the water situation (therefore ducks) are like at either Stillwater or Washoe? I assume Washoe is still frozen and done for year, but it's closer and usually has more geese.

If not I guess I'll go back for those darn chukar that kept laughing at me last week as they ran away in the snow and fog covered mountain.

Even though Washoe is frozen....This time of year you can park off hwy 395 on the west side of the lake, walk out a ways and hope to get into a flight or two of GEESE! It worked for me last year.....

All of the Fallon area is "HARD"......I might hunt on dry land.....NO MORE going out in the "water" for me this year.....

Thur 15th had to take a bucket with me to pick up my downed birds, having to make a path through ice 1/2 inch thick!

The Fat Lady is really hitting the high notes!!!!! :pissed:
