I'll have to admit i'm going through a little depression...hopefully my weekend of shooting at birds that don't like to fly and would rather run and laugh at me will cheer me up.

Had a good time this year reading and talking with you all...take care.

Dropdux; right on bro......

I noticed we all have a E-mail adress listed if something comes up.

However, it might take me a week before I look at my mail, just to let you guys know why I'm not responding......

Ducella1479;

Been hunting 45 years huh? Great! Another old phart like me.

Those young pups are great to hunt with, but they are always in a big hurry, leaving me in the dust. I have to admit is is nice to walk in with the dec's already out...ha ha ha ha

Glad to have you join the post. I will be going through you town on the way to Topaz,to get my boat wet , Wen or Thur.

Later Ed

DHC is a great way to pass time in the off-season. It's also a great way to get over excited about hunting in mid-April! :pissed: But there's a lot to do during the time off like training the pups and buying more gear  .

DC; don't forget about running aroung the yard with a shovel in your hand ! Ahhh, the joys of having pets !

I woke up early one morning (2am) to a strange noise. It was coming right next to my right ear. I looked over and our new puppy was taking a dump on my pillow. Ain't it fun!.....

youngster

Postby Sagebrush » Thu Jan 26, 2006 8:53 pm

Hay , wait a minute , it was not my fault !

I know you have to start them out young for "potty training".

This was my wife's dog, and she just could not let it sleep all by its self on the cold floor! ( we all have heard this, right?)

So not to mess up a good thing in bed , I said "ok". When you piss off a young wife, anything can happen.

I had to laugh; I picked up the pillow, had it at arms length away from me heading for the bathroom. Thats when the wife woke up. " what are you doing"? I looked like I had the Queen of Englands crown on my pillow, going to the corination. We both had a good laugh, when I told what happened. The pup just looked up, as to say, "what up"?

gone to the dogs

Postby ducilla1479 » Fri Jan 27, 2006 12:13 am

It's a good thing that dogs occasionally pick up ducks, otherwise they might not be worth the trouble.
I mean who else would u share a bed with?
