OK - lets try it

Postby Old Duck Getter » Thu Jan 12, 2012 10:08 pm

From what I've seen lately some folks would like to meet up after the season ends. We can do this if you all want. If you would like something like this, chime in and we getter started. We'll have to figure where to meet up. Any suggestion? Let us know when you'll be free.

sounds good. Maybe we should find out who is interested and where they are and then pick a central location like a pizza place?

I'm in Dayton

I think with this good weather we should do camping and a bbq at Mason valley when the fishing open.

Since I suggested it, I'm certainly in. I'm down for a BBQ, but it's getting colder by the day. I think a pizza place or restaurant/bar would work well if we can do something central.

I'm in Reno.

Ive got 2 acres with lots of parking and room, either way I think I would be up to meet all you guys. I have a Rib Cookoff Usually Labor day weekend and would love to stay in touch to send out invites. I know a certain DHC person is really counting on the win this year since the last 2 rib champs are cooking for fun this year and may not like new competition. Anyways I am up for it anywhere

While I am new to the forum, I have followed many of your posts. Chatting up duck hunting sounds like a fun time! I have a 28' boat I keep moored up at Tahoe and fish it every weekend that I am not duck hunting or skiing. Pitch in for gas and I will donate a morning or afternoon of fishing to the cause. By the way it has a sweet BBQ that mounts to the back to cook up some grub.

YESSIR! SilentT3 I'm in for the win this year on that one!

I like the idea of the boat. I've never fished Tahoe, but would really like to check it out. I dont have a boat though  If we had enough though, that could be really cool.

My boat can fish up to 6 but that may be a bit crowded, 4 or 5 would probably be best. The boat is well equiped with safety equipment/navigation, has an enclosed heated cabin and is well suited for whatever Tahoe may deliver (would like to go however on a nice day).

Anything is ok with me. I've never fished Tahoe but I'd give it a try. I have a 17 1/2'
crestliner. It can fish 4 but 2 is way better. Not the best for Tahoe but is a dream at pyramid.

So where are we at with this thing?

Let's get fishing before the weather cools down! I'm back in town and available weekends.

Another option is we could get together out in the hills somewhere and do some shooting?

OK, some folks want to go fish. Some folks want to have BBQ. Duck Man West said we could meet at his place for a BBQ. For those of you who want to fish Tahoe, have at it. I don't think I'll make that one. If it is OK with DMW the first Saturday in March (weather permitting) is open for discussion. It can be a pot luck thing. I'll bring burgers/hot dogs and buns.
