spring?

Postby ducilla1479 » Wed Apr 26, 2006 11:34 pm

It looks like we are going to miss spring altogether. It still feels like winter here in western nv. Tooo much rain! It should be good for fall hunting though so I guess its worth the pain.

DUCK season is getting closer day by day, I CANT WAIT!!!

It does look good for the marshes but bad for any spring or early summer fishing in the rivers. I hope it doesn't flood the nests to early. We will see (but not soon enough).

fishn

Went up to Antelope lake (south of Susanville) for some pan fish.
5/18 should be great, we were a little early.

Took the back roads south (rd 01 FS ) for 15 miles to hit a creek
that holds brookies. This 24" by 6" creek was a 4 foot by 18"
gusher ! At least 30 days for the fish to be able to come upstream !!

Finally came out at the west side of Frenchman lake. Nice drive if
you like to look at a lot of trees....
