NDOW SPONSORS KIDS CARP DERBY
The entire family can hook a good time at the Kids Carp Derby on June 2 from 8 a.m. to noon at Lahontan Reservoir sponsored by the Nevada Department of Wildlife. Staff and volunteers will be available to teach the little ones how to drop a line. Prizes will be awarded for the largest carp caught by children in different age categories. This clinic is designed for children and is free to all participants.

BRING: Participants are requested to provide their own tackle. A limited number of rods
are available for use by those who do not have their own fishing equipment. Note: A fishing license is required for those 12 years of age and older. NDOW will not be able to sell licenses on site so you will have to pick them up before the event.
Last Year it was a hoot! Every kid that entered hooked into a fish, most more than one. There were a lot of give-a-ways and everyone left having a good time, so stop by the NDOW trailer and say hi.
