Cheap trick

Postby GETTER DONE » Mon Jul 16, 2012 12:45 pm

Since I have been very lucky to draw tags every year I was looking for cheap trail cameras to put out in case they got stolen. Well Wal-Mart had the wild game innovations 1.3 for $21.I used them for a year and they are great for the cost and I own 6 now. Night picture are only good if the animal is stopped (like at a waterhole). Well to improve on the cameras and cut cost even more I made my own 6v batteries pack. Now I had most the stuff but I price checked everything and its way cheaper to DIY then to buy this set up. Now if you own a MOJO you have the batterie and charger all ready. Here my parts list.
Total cost $38.86
Wild game camera $21 (walmart)
6v batteries $6.99 (ebay)
25ft wire $3.99 (radio shack)
DC Power Plug size M PER 2 $3.89 (radio shack)
Tupperware $2.99 (walmart)

There are now trail cameras that can get better shots and also comes with a cheap price. Great job on the innovation you made on your camera. :clapping:
