Wasn't able to make the morning hunt on Sept 1st. Headed out for an evening hunt solo to a few spots 20 minutes from my house. Every spot I pulled into I was greeted by a truck or two and the sound of WWIII. Didn't scratch a single bird on this day. Sept 2nd, Rolled out bed at 0darkthirty and went back to the same area. I was the only one around and had a limit by 7:00am...Not a bad day...

Have to pass this along.........................

on another site one of the guys posted "Shoot & Release"

Seems that he was nice and only brought three doves home with him and released all the others.................

I told him that his mother must be really proud of him for being such a nice hunter and great sportsman.............
and it also brought tears to my eyes !!

Couple pics from a hunt this last weekend out of state. Since I'm recovering from shoulder surgery, I get plenty more time on the camera

Always seem to be in the wrong place...some shooting but only saw a few birds. Does anyone know whether Lake Lahontan holds any birds? Help!

You and me both. Had surgery on July 16th. No dove this year but I do have a deer tag to try and fill in October. It's going to be tough because I haven't been able to get out and scout and I've never been in Area 10 before.

Can't believe how bad the PT hurts! Anyway, should be ready to go for ducks. Getting a little excited.
