ok so i just got my dog a vest for this winters duck season. i was wondering how tight this should fit him?

From my experience it needs to be "Snug". Not to the point where it is digging in and cutting off circulation. Just monitior around the legs for chafing and burs underneath. A good fitting dog vest can keep your dog pretty happy in the blind. A bad fitting dog vest can make him/her pretty miserable.

It needs to be snug enough to retain warmth but permit movement. Usually a couple fingers worth of room around the front legs and neck is ample.
