I haven't hunted Washoe in years, first because of the low water and now because of the 7 days per week thing. I was really surprised when it went that way. Sounds like the idea needs to be revisited.

I'm thinking of going to secret lake "W"...............or

There is one South of Reno, or maybe the one North of Carson City, maybe try the lake East of Bowers Mansion............
with all those lakes I don't know which to try?

Last heard you had to shoot your way into the water with all the birds out there.......................... :lol: :lol:

Man, I don't know why you guys don't hunt that place more. Drove past it last night going to Tahoe to visit the family and saw a pretty good wad of honkers on it. Slowed down to watch a few very low groups pass over by the bellview exit.

Drove through today as well. decent amount of ducks in the ponds on the west side of 395 and a few groups of honkers flying around as well...... Few guys out.
