Carson Valley Duck Porn

Postby fishonzac » Thu Nov 15, 2012 2:58 pm

I wasn't going to post this but I figured everyone is over reading about coyote backstraps, grilled jack rabbit and mac and cheese coots! :hammer: Here is some action from the Carson Valley and surrounding area to about 30 miles out and a little band action. Just called it in so I will let you all know where its from when I get the report. A couple shoots of mine and some friends enjoy. Also heard of some reports of whistlers showing up on the river and heard a guy shot a banded barrow's goldeneye. Don't know if its true but it sounds good right!

11 days? Someone played there cards right and just in time for this next set of storms! Anywhere in particular you are spending those days? Good luck should be productive.

I am planning on hitting every decent spot I know. It will be some fuel for the truck, but I think it will pay off in birds.
The bigger the storm, the better I like it. Colder the better! Keeps the fair weather boys at home curled up on the couch drinking hot cocoa!! :lol3:

I couldn't agree with you more on our fair weather friends better for us. This looks like a good second weather system and should move things around. Another thing it should keep our couch hunters and interent scouters locked to the computer screen :lol3:

We put together a handful of birds over the weekend but thats about it. Haven't heard too many other good reports so hopefully soon we will get some new birds in. They are coming now but I haven't seen many huge increases
