I put in for late hunts not hunting in 80 degree weather anymore out of 5 choices the total tags were about 270 and with no points I didn't and didn't expect to draw Good luck to You and Frank.

Received the letter yesterday at 11am and let it sit on the breakfast table over night.
Tonight at 4:49pm the wife could not stand it any more and told me to open the darn thing !!

Antlered Mule Deer area 6, North Elko area (Tuscarora ) ..............
SUCCESSFUL, TAG MAILED UNDER SEPERATE COVER.

Looks like I will have to blow the dust off the 270 and 30-06 and see what shoots the best and tell the folks in Elko to turn the power on the old homestead so the place will be welcome again.

Party time.................

I got a 101 -109 rifle hunt for deer usually a 3 ring circus and a shooting contest for bambi but still better than nothing!! I also got a cow elk tag for 072 I never have hunted in the Jarbidge area. I look forward to learning some new country. If anyone has some pointers or tips for the area please let me know of give me a pm.

I drew my first Mule Deer tag here in Nevada. Even though the Government doesn't reconize my hunt area it still existes. I drew area 51 with a buddy of mine. He had the same area last year and got a nice 4 point.

That's my favorite area. Put in there for antelope after a successful hunt 6 years ago and got skunked.

Muley in 14, early. Got a small forky there a few years back. Hoping for better this time but that young meat sure is tasty! Probably still hunt around the Christina Peak area in the Diamonds. Any other suggestions?
