Got bored so grabbed the fly rod and headed to the Truckee river to see what damage I could do
at HIGH NOON ! Water was crystal clear and low, even weed beds were stating in the warmer shallows.

Checked the willows for any "Bug" life to see what I might tie on and got attacked by a hopper !!
Well I guess that settles that question.................
Tied on a #12 yellow Humphy and started hitting the riffles and pools and in an hours time had
five nice rainbow for the wife and myself to enjoy for tonight after a little time at the BBQ.

I best be getting to the trap club also, only 15 days til it closes, thought I will mention that,also.

Sagebrush, looks like you had a good day out there on the Truckee!! Bet you and the wife had a good dinner too. Glad to see someone else is out there fishing too waiting for time to pass till opening day... :clapping:
