Our family's success so far

Postby Moose14 » Mon Aug 26, 2013 9:15 pm

We've been blesses by the big game gods this year. Between 5 of us we drew 4 deer tags, two antelope tags, two bull elk tags, and one cow elk tag. All of them are/were archery except for a rifle antelope and a shotgun deer tag for Yerington. It's definitely helped with waiting for October to get here.

Man what a great start to the new season. Congrats! Stuck In South Dakota, come hell or high water, this guy is not missing waterfowl season :hammer:
Give a man a duck... Feed him for a day... Teach him to fowl hunt... Feed him for a lifetime...Teach him in your spot... Learn to hunt a different spot....

Sweet.
Nothing like a little practice on a "Lope" and some deer to get ready for those big Elk and cutting time.

Hope all that meat made it home safe and cold, for you to enjoy in this warm weather, we have been having.

Hoping the end of Sept. will start the cool down for our main hunting season and our little walks into the field.

Congratulations.
