no hunt days.......

So am I reading the regulations right.............

last day Oct 31 and 1st day of Nov. ....... a Thursday and Friday are both a no hunt day?

Why does the F&G do this ?
For income ??

So the last days of the season fall on a Sat and Sun and not Friday.

It's better this way. They've done it before so you don't end up with the last day on a Friday or Saturday. On the other hand you might lose two days of good weather and trade them for two frozen solid, no duck days! It's a toss up. I like the full final weekend.

Federal frameworks allow for 107 days of waterfowl hunting. Given that, you can start on a Saturday and close on a Sunday. But, youth days are subtracted from this, leaving 105 days, which would cause a Friday ending date. So, pick your poison.

Could do it like CA does and just throw the last 5 days away and end on a Sunday.

BTW, we don't have a F&G in NV :mad: Its NDOW here.
