I was wondering what the rules are for blinds at mason? Today I was out there and found 12 blinds. some built this year some are a few years old. are you allowed to build blinds there?

up until a week before Thanksgiving I believe it is first come first serve. Then you have to be drawn after that however if someone doesn't show up to claim their blind by a certain time in the AM they will give it to a person.

You can build blinds. I've built dozens out there over the years. Since there's no reservations or assigned areas besides the controlled goose area, don't be surprised if you walk out there and someone is using the blind you built. I always pack a mini shovel and a knife and dig in and brush it up.

Oh OK cool. I was just wondering cause I know in Washington the wardens would tear blinds down in state run areas

Some of those blinds you found were probably built during the youth hunt.
It will be interesting at Mason this opener. I think I need to get me one of those hat cams. Might be some good comedy to post up on you tube!
Good luck!

There is one exception if any of you find the blind that has a lazy boy in it with a big screen tv and all seasons of duck dynasty that one is mine and is off limits. Yes that is a kevlar outter shell
