Water Reports

Postby Pinny1995 » Mon Oct 07, 2013 7:52 pm

Hey guys,
I'm from Reno Nevada currently going to school in Montana at Montana State. I'm doing a research project for a class and am needing water levels for Stillwater and Carson Lake, and precipitation records for the area, if you know of any websites that could show me those it would be great. Feel free to shoot me a PM with the URL, I have help from a local biologist but he is currently out of town with no way to get in touch with him, any help would be great. Hope you guys have a great season, good luck with the shortage of water!

Hi Pinny, here's some contacts for the Carson lake and Stillwater NWR. The only request is that you wear Griz gear the day of the Griz, Cat game. For Greenhead duck club board members the names and numbers are as follows. Gib Mackedon (775)427-5424, Chris McKenzie (775)882-0202, Don Snodgrass (775)423-2778, Curtis McGowan (775)427-4323, Bob Stanard (775)219-4873, Jim Seevers (775)423-5834 and Kurt Paholke (775)867-2436. One of these guys should be able to help and or direct you to the source that you need. For the Stillwater NWR, I have Bill Henry at (775)423-5128. Not sure if you will get anybody at Stillwater w/the Gov. shutdown but give it a try. It always seems a Griz fan is always helping out a Cat fan! In all seriousness sounds like you are going for a degree in Wildlife Bio.? Good luck and hope these leads help you out.
Good Luck in Bozeman,

Highscrapper, there is no way you will catch me going for the grizz, but yes I'm going for a degree in Wildlife Management and ecology. Thanks for all of the info, I will try to give some of those guys a call to see if I can get something figured out! Thanks again! GO CATS!
