Yes yes yes!!! I'll be headed to a Cali refuge Saturday but looking forward to what the silver state is going to offer
Trust me. 8 hours in a pond with leaky waders, to not fire a single shot... Is still better than work.

Was going to go today but too much to do at the homestead. It's hard for me to get really stoked knowing Stillwater is way down and it's going to be warm and sunny. Tomorrow is booked too, and back to work on Sunday. :crying:

Good thing you didn't go today, seeing as the season is closed. Re-opens Saturday the 2nd

Lots of good reports today already heard of a couple banded collared Aleutian getting shot today and also lots of new birds where Getter Done guides. Correct me if I am wrong Anthony . Tomorrow ducks, Sunday chasing some tail should be a great weekend maybe throw the shotgun in the boat to shoot some Tahoe mallards. That would be fun if it where legal!

That is a good question...who reported good shooting on the first? Apparently the scores showing NV's poor standing in reading tests is spot on, can't yell at the kids if the parents can't even read regs! :lol3:

I remember hunting the Sac valley when I was young.........
Lots of widgeon and sprig in those rice field areas.
The club members only shot pintail and mallards but that just left that many more for my brother and myself.

Not too many honkers but lots of snow and ross back in those days.......... at sunset all you saw was "V" after "V" of geese going south. Quite the view with the pink and blue sky.
