wanted some info. on coyote hunting. about how much do you get for the fur, and can you shoot them or do you have to trap them if you wanna sell? and what stamps or lisence do you need to do so?
If you want to sell furs here in Nevada you have to have a Trappers License, but you don't any license to hunt yoties.
Depending on the condition of the fur you can get from $25 to $75 per pelt. You get more money by making sure the pelt in fleshed and brushed. I have some pelts right now that I've taken, that I'm hoping to get around $60 for.
I was just talkig to some off-road buddy's on a different site, and one was from Yerington (where my family is) telling me that there are some yotes close to his house that keep him up at night.
I asked him where and he sent me a google map of a field that is practically in my cousin's backyard. What a sweet deal that is, I could hang out with the cuz, eat, drink, be merrry and then walk down the street to hunt yote's
Next trip down - I'm taking my the new muzzleloaded, and my Remington 1100 Magnum with some slugs.. I will keep everyone posted of the progress or lack there off.
Never been, was up duck hunting last fall (which seems a distant memory) an heard them howling at dusk. I would like to go, just got a new .22-250 cal for smaller critters, anyone in the southern Nevada area looking to bring a newbie to yotes along....I need an outlet between now and duck season...HELP
