just wondering, I was "recovering" this morning and pretty much didn't feel like going after work. Tomorrow is another story!

Worked today. Saving my last 4 days for duck opener and other duck days... so hopefully this weekend or afterwork this week, we'll see...

I have had to put early season goose on hold. I recently got some new square footage for the decoy shop and have been preparing for the move while still getting decoys finished. Have to make hay while the sun shines...

My boss has promised that I can take off the entire late season

Have you noticed that common sense is not as common as it used to be???

I did, got skunked on the 6th, 7th, and 8th of Sept. Saw very few birds and none of them would work the spread.
Finally on the 9th the layouts saw a little bit of action...

It was actually pretty awesome. Flock after flock just wanted to land right on top of us. I have never seen anything like it before. We actually had one group of 7 that set in perfectly and not one of them made it out of the Landing Zone. I finally feel like an actual goose hunter.

wow, nice work!

Did a combo of scouting today and crow hunting. Got one crow. Saw 0 geese.

Still waiting for October...

scouted today also, saw tons of geese! All on posted property, horse farms and baseball fields. Going to a spot where they usually come through right before sundown, will let you guys know.
