Dog Vest

Postby JustinNH » Thu Aug 16, 2012 4:04 pm

So my puppy is no longer a puppy and does not fit into her neoprene vest from last year.

Just thought I would ask around and see what any of you use and if there are any benefits compared to others you tried.

Her old one is a redhead brand and she wore it maybe 10 times (mostly training and two hunts) and some sewn seams are already coming apart a bit so I probably won't go that route again.

Thanks,

The Avery Dog Parka! Built in handle for lifting her in the boat, 5mm neoprene and the fit on the belly is longer to cover more of the vitals when its cold. Cami (AKA Devil Dog) is going on her 3rd year with hers and other that being a little faded it's still in perfect shape.

I agree with the capt. Kirby has the Avery Boaters Parka with the handle and it is very well put together. This is our 2nd Avery vest in 6 years, the first one was the 3mm which after 5 yrs is still used when we pheasant hunt. It is a little worn but I think I got my moneys worth out of it.

Another for the Avery, I don't use the one with the handle though. My dog walks on water so she just steps in the boat. :lol3:

Another Avery user here. I like the fact that it zips and has the velcro flap. I've had mine 6 years now.
