Here is one of the flies I tied with some crow down. I used some of the gray down as dubbing for the body
then used a crow hackle feather to mix with the brown. Some turkey feather for the tail and she is good to go.
I call it a Turcrow Adams.
Don't mind the shoddy tying job. This is probably about the 10th. fly I have ever tied.
After looking at the picture I cut it down just a bit to reduce it's profile.

I know absolutely nothing about fly tying or fishing, but I think it looks really good. That hobby is probably like everything else, your 100th one will make this one look awful. It is the way it evolves. I look at my first decoys and cringe. Keep at it.

Nice fly and use for the crow!
Ive mentioned it in the past, but have not yet done it...I want to make a fly using only hair/fur and feathers of animals I have taken here in NH.
