Can lead weights be used on decoys?

Looking to buy weights for my recently purchased decoys and all I can seem to find are lead. Not sure if they are ok to use or motif anyone can answer that would be great. I know you can't use lead sinkers don't see why you could use lead weights. I'll probely should call f&g

You can use lead weights in NH as long as they are over 1 ounce. If they are for decoys I would imagine you would want at least 4 oz. anchors. As far as fishing, I believe over 1 oz lead weights are legal also. Wouldn't hurt to check with Fish and Game, though. Good luck :beer:

I agree, 1oz and over can be lead. I use them saltwater fishing often when going light tackle. Smallest weights I use on decoys are 2 oz for woodies that only get used in beaver ponds.
