Had a wonderful birthday today. Got in a hunt this morning with my bro-we got skunked. Came home and had a nice birthday breakfast. Then went out jump shooting with my daughter, Coli, my wife and Belle. We jump shot the edge of a river. As Coli was walking the edge of a corn field and entering the the bank, a Cananda goose was hunkered in some trees. She startled it out of there and started to try and fly. Her first shot hit right behind it, but she caught up to it on the second shot. It was awesome. She had only taken a goose in Missouri last winter and a greenwing teal during the youth season this year. To say the least I was very proud of her. My little Belle ran down the bank and made a nice retrieve. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday gift.
