:welcome: to the forum!

Are you talking sea ducks or just the coastal zone?

I am talking about the coastal zone in general...i had a pond near my town in Barnstead, NH but it froze up on me and too deep to smash the ice out...So i was wondering about the coastal zone and places to go where i dont need a boat because i am in college and dont have enough money for a boat haha.

Yes, the coastal zone can be pretty good. Good mix of divers and puddlers.

Boats are needed in all of my coastal spots. Either no access or too much muck (be careful!). I am sure you can find somewhere you do not need one, but like I said... beware... you don't want to get stuck in knee deep mud when the tide is coming in.

Haha thank you!

I went down in Durham the other day, it was raining and only saw 4 ducks they were a mile high!! Couldn't bring 'em down...but the
day before was excellent got a few shots off...but missed (still learning) hahah.

They seemed to be flying the opposite directions as I have seen them fly before...is that from the rain?

How about breaking ice inland, do you have any experience with that?
