Just wondering what everybody uses for choke tubes? I hunt over decoys a lot I use a black cloud mid range. I was thinking about trying a different brand any suggestions.

I just use the factory chokes.

IC if I am shooting black cloud or in the woods for grouse.

Modified if I am shooting Xperts or other steel.

Well I use a pattern master short range for mostly in tight duck shooting an a reg. patmstr for geese or later season birds. Really I am truly starting to realize it is less about the choke brand and more about matching the shell and shot size to the choke. My short range patterns rem. 3 inch 3s like a dream but fed speed shock 3s pattern like cuckah. My buddy shoots a kicks and that patterns fed 3s great. I am going to spend more time this summer doing a lot more patterning of different shells.
