Stripers baby!!!!

Postby crewchief252 » Sat Apr 21, 2012 3:05 pm

After almost two years of solid overtime, no fishing, no hunting, i was finally able to get out this morning with my father, hooked my first keeper 5 mins after dropping anchor, he got his first 15 mins later, than i got my second about 30 mins after that, hooked up a few nice size blues too , and a handful of skates. Awesome morning on the water with my Pop. Going to eat good tonight.

Launch out of Keyport? Chris and I launched Keyport on the 21st picked up two stripers and cpl of blues. Chief I've been getting the launch permit for the year $80 half the normal price because of veterans status. Been down five times already so it's paid for itself.Daily launch fee is $20. Except this year no one at the trailer collecting cash so far.

No, we launched out of Leanardo, closer to the hook. I think we are going again this coming saturday. They are still getting some big stripers, monster blues are in, and even starting to get some fluke too.
They usually dont have anyone there until Memorial day to collect moneys.
