bbsb refurb update 9-8-2012

hey guys and PETE (thanks for the boat again) here is a link to photobuckets
with all the pics of my refurb to date i have epoxy and glass on oreder
and hope to be water tight in about 2 weeks

thanks i just filled all holes and seams on deck with epoxy on sunday morning and
sanded it this afternoon need to recoat a few spots and then re sand should
be ready to do hull by the weekend

Thank my father for holding on to it for over 50 years!!! Now that's Impressive! I wish I had a garage to have kept it in, it would have been in alot better condition but thanks to you it looks like it will be around another fifty years. I will make it a point to get up and see the final results of all your hard work. We'll keep in touch.

Are you a carpenter, that looks like a top notch restoration. Youve come a long way from sitting on a bucket in the cattails! :wink:

pete when im done you do not have to come up this way to see it i plan on heading down by you

and fft nope i do electrical first time working on a old wood boat but i read a lot online and took my time
marking everything as i worked on it
ps never used a bucket only milk crate for me

That makes it all the more impressive, great job. Funny thing about the milk crate is that was I was sitting on the 1st time I shot a a duck. My dad planted me in the cattails on the inside of BI and my 1st shot was at an ol squaw with a 12g. A5, I missed and got kicked off the crate but the addiction started there. Cant wait to see the finished sneak.
