just wanted to introduce myself, my name is george and i am from fairton nj. I hunt mostly along the cohansey and maurice rivers. I am sure that i will be asking some questions in the future that i hope that some of you may be able to help me out with. I will also attempt to help anyone in any way that i can. I only have 3 seasons under my belt so some of this stuff is still new to me. really just wanted to say hi and hope to talk to or hunt with some of you soon.

Bacons Neck is in Greenwich right? Sure have done a lot of fishing out of Greenwich, what a nice area. I am going to be doing some early season goose hunting out that way.

Tom,
It's been about 2-years since we spoke. Been to Iraq since then and lost all your contact information. I'm still stationed here at McGuire AFB and looking to do some duck hunting this season. I got a chocolate lab that's ready for the season to start also. Let me know if you want to hunt Jersey sometime this season. chocolab@comcast.net

new to maurice

Postby stevez » Mon Oct 23, 2006 6:05 pm

Hey fellow waterfowlers! I'm kinda new to waterfowling but haven't been doing too bad these past 2 years. This year I rebuilt a 14 foot boat from a garage sale and would love to try hunting the maurice river in New Jersey. This might be a dumb question but I just can't find the answer ANYWHERE I've searched. I want to launch out of Millville and head down-stream 2 or 3 miles looking for duck/geese/what-have-you. Is it LEGAL to hunt the marshes along the Maurice river since it is tidal water, or is hunting restricted due to any town limits? Please don't blast me...I just want to do the right thing and avoid troubles.
