Snow Geese

Postby ithaca10 » Wed Oct 24, 2012 2:51 pm

Cleaning up the boat a bit heard the call of snow geese. Three flocks between 11am & 2pm with about 30 birds in each flock heading south. I'm in springfield north central nj.

That crazy fool dog of mine tried to retrieve a pair of live ones who came swimming over to my Dad and I this afternoon while working on his dock. He charged after them and the flew off up river but that didn't stop Jack and my Dad's dog Brit joined him for the swim. I blew the damned whistle to no avail, he totally ignored me and kept on swimming

Oh, wait a minute... they weren't snows, they were swans! LOL. I'm just glad that swan didn't turn on Jack cause that might have gotten ugly!
