Some Bluebills this mornings

Had a good morning, never shot a bluebill before, did a ton of missing and managed to bag some birds before eight and go home.

Got to shoot them over the foamers I hand painted yesterday, the decoys are probably older than me.

Really? That's awesome, yea he is a really good guy. He thought me a whole lot about the sport and history of duck hunting.

You have to get way out ahead of bluebills, squaws and canvasbacks.... they fly very, very fast. It's very deceptive. Swing and lead 8-10 ft. in front at 30 yds or you'll only hit them in the ass.

Yea I had trouble leading them, I didn't want to lead them like I would a Buffy but I guess I have too. These guys came in and decoyed perfectly though which was great to watch and made for a good shot.
There's plenty out there guys, crunch time now!
