Alright fellas I am pretty familiar with all state and federal hunting laws, except this one. I am looking to plants some millet on a property that I hunt. But I am not sure it is legal. I know you cant bait and have read all the federal laws on this but I am confused by them. Any info would help. Just looking to put a food source back where it once was.

Shoot me a pm with some details of what you want to do and where (doesn't have to be gps...habitat type) and I should be able help. If you are putting stuff down this summer to grow it is not baiting....unless of course you dumped a few hundred pounds of millet out a few days before the season to 'grow' lol.

Totally legal. Just can't do it like Dutch said number of days prior to the opener.
