water gap

Postby crewchief252 » Sat Dec 09, 2006 9:50 am

Got up to the Delaware water gap this morning with my son and my father, dad got 1 greenhead, saw alot of mallards ( 50-60) also saw a pr of blacks, a few flocks of common mergs, and a lone goldeneye, at least it finally felt like duck hunting, mustache frozen, coat of ice on the deeks, plenty of birds, just very spread out, got to watch a bald eagle up close for a while

Thanks for posting. Enjoy reading your report. I hunted the WMA friday and sat. Friday friend and I harvested two drake pins, two mallards, hen teal. Virtually hundreds of pins. Sat we got two mallards, two teal and had lots of shots at other mallards and merganzers plus others. Cold weather is just what the dr ordered.
Take a kid duck hunting. Show him the best that life has to offer.
