small water hunting

Postby rracioppi » Mon Dec 18, 2006 8:12 am

Hello,
I have just started duck hunting in the last month and have been in the Manasquan WMA mostly with an otter 2000 I purchased. I have had some good luck lately and also a few slow days. I got two greenheads last week. I am interested in hunting with other members if possible since i have time over the next two weeks and my brother in law can only hunt Saturday. I have a 14 foot aluminum boat with a 15 hp and just put a blind on it but do not want to venture out alone in it. I live on Monmouth county and would be interested in hunting the Navesink or the Raritan although I do not have the decoy set up for big water yet. I use about a dozen mallards with a few black ducks mixed in and have had good luck i also have a floating mojo that has worked great. If anyone is interested in getting together this week or next please let me know. I am 45 years old and in good shape.
