I'm going to one of my honey holes and shooting my limit by 8AM so I can rest before driving to Dad's for a turkey dinner. It just depends on which way the wind is blowing on Thursday.

Enjoy your hunts, I will be with family in CT, but hope to be home by Saturday afternoon for a local hunt. With the cold/wind birds finally have shown up in local area. Not huge numbers but at least I have seen something that looks like a duck.

Depending on the wind hoping to get in a protected cove in hopes of some diver and puddle duck mix with my buddy and our dads should be a great day no matter what weather is looking good if you look at the weather north of us (Upstate New York and Canada looks like we will be getting a push soon !!!)

Jealous. I'd like to be out there Thursday, forecast looks ducky but family events will prevail. Hitting something off the Delaware bay Saturday morning, just hope there's enough weather to keep birds moving. Good luck.

It's a Thanksgiving tradition in my family. Looks to be this years first cold weather hunt.

FYI

I hunted the north zone today ahead of the impending storm. Great action. 4 mallards two gadwalls I should have limited out the first 15 mins. Groups of 6 to 15 birds but no wind for spinner today so every shot was a take a peek passing shot. Tons of ruddies every where. I was the only one hunting. When I left at 830 I put up big groups of puddlers. Birds are definitely on the move. TG should be an awesome day. Havent seen a pintail yet.
