NJ Sea Duck Hunting

Postby Dallas7415 » Mon Aug 20, 2007 11:42 am

Anyone have any tips or ideas on where to try for Sea Ducks in NJ? I have an 18 foot semi vee so I would rather keep it in the bays or just far enough offshore to make it legal (When it is calm.)

I go out of keyport on Raritan bay, last season there were alot of surf scoters in there early season, and once the squaws came in there were plenty, but they didnt show up until the second split, i am doing it in a 14' deep vee, and had no problems, you just need a GPS so you know when you are a mile out from the 2 points if you want to go by the sea duck regs.
Just once i would like to hear you scream in pain !....wanna hear me scream in pain? Play some rap music!
